The Austin Marriage Initiative is a project of the Forward Foundation in alignment with the national Marriage Initiative movement.
The Forward Foundation helps people move forward in life by building a solid foundation. Because the need is so great, the Forward Foundation works to equip and partner with individuals, churches and charities for maximum impact.
The Marriage Initiative (MI) unites visionary marriage leaders who desire to connect and serve with intentional purpose in their respective communities. MI partners with local leaders to identify, build relationship, grow a support systems to have a sustainable, measurable impact on marriages.

There are over 500,000 marriages in Austin with 100,000 couples struggling, 10,000 filing for divorce–38 today. Taxpayer cost of divorce, is over $38,000 per family. Failed relationships are a $300 million-a-year problem in our community.
